Help with Spellerr

Spellerr includes 100 illustrated words: 25 animals, plus familiar household things, food, body parts and nature. A grown-up chooses when to expand the word collection: 12, then 34, 50, 75 and 100 words. Completing a collection does not add words automatically, so familiar words stay available for review. Up to four questions make a round. There are no timers or penalties.

Learning stages

Start with Match: listen to the word and tap the matching letters. When your child is ready for a later challenge, choose One letter, then Spell. Hints remain optional at every stage, so a grown-up can choose the collection size and the amount of letter support separately.

Sound and keyboard

Press Listen when you want to hear a word. Starting a round, changing pictures, answering correctly and using a hint are all silent. You can finish a whole round without playing any audio. Check your device volume, silent mode and the audio switch under the grown-up lock. On Mac or with a hardware keyboard: A–Z enters letters, Delete erases, Return checks or continues, and Space repeats the audio.

Your stickers and progress

Progress stays on your device. Use the grown-up lock to review progress, choose a word collection or learning stage, change letter case or erase saved learning data. Erasing removes imported photos, custom questions, stickers and settings, and cannot be undone. On Apple devices, device backups may preserve learning data. The Android edition excludes learning records and imported photos from automatic cloud backup and device transfer. Uninstalling the Android app removes its local data; purchases and progress are not shared between Apple and Android.

Make your own photo words

In grown-up settings, choose Create and manage photo words. Select one photo, enter a name or word in 2–12 English letters, and confirm the spelling before saving. On Android, also confirm that the photo and word are suitable for young children. Add up to 50 custom questions. They stay on your device and have no recorded pronunciation: please read them with your child. You can delete each photo word or erase all local data. Your original photo library is unchanged.

Privacy policy

This policy describes Spellerr by G-Prep Inc., including its Android edition available on Google Play. Spellerr is designed for young children to use with a parent or caregiver. The Android edition applies the same child-protective settings to every user; it does not ask for an age or use age-based advertising or profiling.

Inside the app

The app does not send learning records, settings, imported photos or custom spellings to G-Prep Inc. It has no accounts, ads, analytics SDKs, tracking, in-app purchases or social features. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access. The lessons, illustrations and word audio are bundled with the app and work offline. The Android edition distributed through Google Play also uses Google Play’s purchase-license check, which may occasionally require an internet connection before the app can be used. This check is separate from the learning content. Google Play handles license verification under Google’s privacy policy.

Settings, completed words, stickers, imported photos and custom questions are saved locally using the device’s storage. The developer cannot read this information. On Apple devices, these records may be included in backups controlled by the device owner and Apple. On Android, these records are stored in the app’s private storage and excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Spellerr does not offer account-based sync or cross-platform progress transfer.

Photo import is optional. The system photo picker shares only your selected image with Spellerr. The app saves a resized JPEG without copying photo metadata such as location. It does not upload photos or names, recognize faces or identify people. Selecting a photo stored in iCloud or an Android photo service may require that service to download it. This system photo service is separate from Spellerr; Spellerr itself does not upload the selected photo.

Parents stay in control

A calculation-based grown-up gate protects settings, external contact links and deletion. This gate is not legal parental consent for collecting personal information. Spellerr does not ask a child to provide personal information to G-Prep Inc. to use the lessons. A parent can erase local learning data in the app’s grown-up settings. On Android, the parent confirms that each imported photo and word is suitable for young children. Photo words are private to that device, with no public posting or messaging. The Android edition has a Brazilian ClassInd rating of Livre (suitable for all ages). An adult can report a safety concern through the contact form or app-support@g-prep.co.jp without sending a child’s personal information.

Purchases, support and this website

Apple processes App Store payments and Google processes Google Play payments and purchase-license checks under their respective privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card information. Each store purchase applies to that store; an Apple purchase does not unlock the Android edition.

When an adult submits our contact form, G-Prep Inc receives the reply email, message, selected language, submission time and reference number. These records are held in a restricted support inbox on OpenAI Sites and its database infrastructure. We use them to respond and resolve the request, not for advertising. Do not send children’s personal information. We retain support requests only as needed for the issue, normally deleting them within 180 days of receipt unless legal obligations require otherwise.

New support requests are also emailed to app-support@g-prep.co.jp through Twilio SendGrid. The service processes your reply address and message to deliver the notification. Email delivery status is kept with your request. Open and click tracking are disabled. A copy may remain in the support mailbox until it is no longer needed; deleting the website record does not automatically delete the email copy.

This website is separate from the offline app. OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure process ordinary connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Our form uses a random verification challenge and a salted, hourly changing hash of the connection address for submission limits. The form database does not store raw IP addresses. Temporary challenge and rate-limit records expire after 30 minutes and two hours respectively and are cleaned on subsequent form requests. Hosting providers may keep separate security logs under their own policies. We have added no advertising or analytics. Signing into the private owner inbox uses the hosting service’s authentication.

For privacy questions or deletion, use the contact form and include your reference number. We may verify that you control the reply address before acting. Policy updates will appear here with a new date.
